Managed Care Organizations (MCO) like HMS are responsible for medically managing workers’ compensation claims for work-related injuries. MCOs are certified by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) and are under contract with the BWC for these services; which means BWC pays us to service your company.

HMS directly serves 31,000 Ohio employers with workers' compensation premium of  $71 million.
