What To Do If You Have A Work-Related Injury

Emergency

• IN THE EVENT OF A LIFE THREATENING WORK-RELATED EMERGENCY NOTIFY YOUR SUPERVISOR OR DESIGNATED PERSON, THEN
• GO TO THE NEAREST MEDICAL FACILITY
  The Provider does not have to be BWC Certified for Emergency/Initial Treatment

Non-emergency

• Report work-related injury to your Supervisor or Designated person
• Obtain the Health Management Solutions ID card, if you do not have one, from your Supervisor or Designated Person
• Seek treatment from a network health provider or BWC Certified Provider
• Your employer can direct you to a BWC Certified Provider
• You may select a BWC Certified Provider from the Network Solutions Health Care Provider Directory.
• You may select a BWC Certified Provider from the BWC Health Care Provider Directory
• Report the Injury to Health Management Solutions if it has not been reported by your Supervisor or designated person
